Change Sender ID/Name - SMS Alerts

Hi All

I would like to be able to change the Sender ID for all SMS alerts that are configured via Site24x7.

Currently, we are receiving alerts from a random sender ID such as “SITEAT.” We would like to have this changed and this field be <Company Name>.

The reason for this request is that we plan to send SMS alerts to our customers, and using a recognizable sender ID like <Company Name> is crucial. If the messages come from an unfamiliar or generic ID, recipients may mistake them for spam and either ignore or report them.

Hi Shilpa,
Thank you for contacting Site24x7.
Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to customize the SMS Sender ID for messages sent from Site24x7 due to global telecom regulations and restrictions set by our SMS gateway providers.
That said, this capability is on our roadmap, but we do not have a confirmed timeline for its implementation at this time. Will keep you posted.
